Knowing how sought after these things are just thought I've drop in a post to say I'd spotted a nearly new sports exhaust on eBay but it looks like the 997 version. The listing says it will fit a 996 but I'm not 100% sure on that. The outlet pipes are different on the 997, as are the exhaust tips. I don't know if they will line up with the cutouts in the rear bumper, but you would certainly need new tips as well. What a stupid way of selling them, with two separate listings. Imagine winning the first auction, and then getting outbid on the second!
