The other morning when it was particularly cold I went out to my car to find this  Does anyone know anywhere I can source a replacement that isn't almost 10% of the value of the car? Porsche want £1200, Design 911 £1300 both plus vat. Apparently these were never available in Arctic Silver and were Rootwood and been painted silver but I'm open to any suggestions. I know I can probably repair it worst case scenario but if I could find a replacement at a decent price I'd rather do that. Thanks. image hosting

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

You may be lucky if you try ringing round the Porsche dismantlers, such as Status in Stockton on Tees.

Thanks gents I've tried ringing a few breakers - no luck. I've got a mate that does bodywork and says he can probably sort it but I was hoping to get a replacement and yeah I've been searching eBay for lids and door cards but only leather ones come up. Apparently the ones in that link are from a Boxster and aren't the same. Appreciate your help though
