Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Pelican Parts: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sadly, this listing is missing any real info or pictures. Cars for Sale: 2000 Porsche 911 GT3 in Broomfield, CO 80020: Coupe Details - 391969795 - AutoTrader.com Are there any problems with insuring and registering a Mk1 in the USA?

POST 2Original post

Did they make a GT3 before 2004??? Might be a race car category or a look-a-like from a standard 996. What engine...M96 or Mezger? (can't see any photo from ad)

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

According to Wiki, Which is why I was asking. I am assuming that this car is grey market. Don't know if I would have trouble getting insurance and registration.

POST 4Original post

Interesting. If it is a gray market car and not federalized, then that could be a process or something that would impact registration. I'm in the insurance (although not car or property) and most companies will sell you a policy for anything...doesn't mean you can drive it though ;-))

POST 6Original post

What a shyte listing. Might be a scam. I can't imagine anyone who actually owns a gt3 would post such a poor ad.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Don't know, you? My M3 does.

POST 9Original post

how to double your money on a C2, call it a GT3. What is sad, is that someone will fall for this. Of course, no bank would loan $50k on a 2000 C2.

POST 10Original post

I'm a GT3 MK1 owner, year 2000. It's a Metzger engine type , from GT1. 360 HP , 302 KM/H . It's really a track car , drivable on open roads without problems , but very low , and the undercar touch sometimes on bad roads. Really a fantastic car.
