Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hi all I'm not sure what colour to go for, never mind the other options. I've checked out the images section and lots the pictures aren't labeled up, so it hard to tell if you're looking at seal, atlas or midnight or lapis. Does anyone have real photos of the different colour, not promo or photoshop It would be good if we could get together a section of one great photo in natural light for each car colour in this thread I'll start with Midnight Blue <input type="image" height="957" width="640" src="http://www.planet-9.com/Gallery/Cayman_Images/Action_Shots/Midnight_Blue_at_Château_de_Harzé_à_vingt.jpg" longdesc="undefined" /> Edited by - Porcheplayer on 11/18/2005 12:16:14 PM Edited by - Porcheplayer on 11/18/2005 12:17:44 PM

PP, I am hoping after today we get a lot of new photos from individuals, no promo. It seems there are a lot of people who now have access to the real macoy! Anxiously Waiting, Russ

POST 3Original post

wow that midnight blue is awesome. Contrary to some early opinions, I really think the dark colors look fantastic on this car (in pictures). Can't wait to see Carmon (I know broken record). If my current M3 wasn't Carbon Black (really dark blue) I would have considered that combo. Saw a Boxster in white with the blue interior today. That is a nice combo also.

POST 4Original post

There is not one color that doesn't look good on this car. I also think the Midnight Blue is beautiful, but now is not the time for many to second guess. Russ

POST 7Original post

I have some pictures of Carmon on the Boxster, but it is very hard to capture the color apporpriately. It usually looks more washed out in pictures than in person. It also looks very different on different models. I will post some later when I get a chance. I have tried to morph the impression of a Boxster and a 911 to form my opinion. The 911 in Carmon shows how a fixed roof will look and obviously the rest of the Boxster looks closer. Every so often, I hesistate, then I see one it and person and I have no doubts. I believe the Cayman will look sharp in Carmon. Kind of like a slightly darker Arena Red, with a little less red in it.
