HI All, New to the forum here. I've been looking for the past few months for a 996.2 c2 or c4s. I just went and looked at 04 c4s cab close to me and thought it was priced well until I saw it in person. Lot's of places (fenders, side skirts, front trunk) where the clear coat has come off and the interior has quite a few marks as well. It has a solid service record and the IMS and RMS are done. I'm I over thinking this or is it a couple grand too high for it's cosmetic condition? https://www.battlefieldtoyota.com/us...medium=website

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'd pass if it has paint and interior issues like you described. Find one in nicer shape, even if it doesn't have the IMS done. Then, spend the money on the IMS solution and you're all set.
Priced right for a dealer, but with winter approaching you could get them to drop a few grand.
Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to pass on this one.
I have the same exact car. It's on 04 C4S also. Had 61,000 miles on it whe i got it 3 months ago. I paid 26k plus 2k to have IMS RMS amd clutch done prior to delivery. My car is in mint condition. No paint issues or interior issues......mine was from a porsche dealer....... I have the same exact car. It's on 04 C4S also. Had 61,000 miles on it whe i got it 3 months ago.
