Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm looking for a standard 996 shifter assembly/mechansim. Not concerned about condition, the more worn the better as I am doing the function first shift right upgrade. As long as the lever and cradle are in tact. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Cheapest I could find was US$49 on eBay. I'll sell you mine for US$45 + shipping. My car had ~60,000 miles on it when I replaced it with a used 997 GT3 shifter.

POST 3Original post

I have a 996 shifter PN 996.424.010.04 with ~47k miles. My 996 now has 997 engine, tranny and shifter so I won't need anymore. If TexSquirrel's shifter is not the right one let me know.
