Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

"I had a noise in the engine, so it appears the engines not too happy" Let's hope it doesn't filter down to road models ......... Wouldn't of happened with a Mezger !!

To be fair to them, this is a totally new car with some very impressive and young technology. I think they made an impressive show of it, they were genuinely in with a shout of winning late in the race. In terms of the Mezger engines, 8 x 911 started the race with Mezger engines and all finished but 1. Number 75 retired due to losing a wheel.

Why have they not used the new 9A1 GT3 engine in the race 991 GT3R's but stuck with the old mezger engine?
