The engine lid support strut on my MY03 C2 has started to weaken. Is there any reason why 2 struts were not fitted on build - there is a place and bolt holes etc for one on the near side? Happy to replace the one that is getting weaker - it is 7 years old, but just wondered why not 2 in the first place.
They only fitted one to the C2 & C4, but two to the C4S. No idea why, as the lid isn't that much heavier. For the C2 - Part number 996.512551.03 - £21.77+VAT
