Hi, I have a race capture pro that can pull data from CAN or ODB. Is it possible to read current oil pressure from the ODB? After HPDE session I would like to see what the pressure was. Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

No, it's not possible. Not even with Durametric, let alone obdii.
The oil pressure sensor wires directly from the sensor to the gauge. I don't think the DME or even the instrument cluster module gets data from it.

You are correct, just had a look back through the wiring diagrams, direct from unit to cluster along with the level sensor into cluster
Ok, so seems like I can splice and pull a wire from the sensor directly to Race capture pro. Would have to calibrate the voltage but that should be easy, just read the voltage and look at the stock gauge.
This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
