Just got back to hotel, wife can’t find her keys to the Cayman, I still have mine. Although they will in all likelihood turn up, other than remove the battery which is a bit of a faff to get to the upper nut on the bracket, is there a fuse or a relay I can pull out that will stop anyone from starting it? I’m assume fuel pump relay, but as is always the way, the manual is at home. Yes it’s tracked etc, but I just don’t need the hassle. All help really greatly appreciated.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I’m assuming the key can be taken off the ECU if it doesn’t show up? I

Probably in a shop while trying on clothes, unfortunately we only noticed it missing now. Anyway, battery removed and didn’t close the frunk.
Porsche couldn’t fit me in until mid November to have the lost key removed from the ECU, managed to speak to the service manager who can now get it done on Friday. Wife’s credit card was also used to make a number of small payments yesterday evening so I’d be pretty sure the key is definitely in the wrong hands.
€590 for a new key There has to be a cheaper option than that surely?
