eBay Motors: Porsche 997 911 Cayman Boxster Navigation Monitor PCM (item 220167986816 end time Dec-03-07 13:53:51 PST) I have a 2006 CS with the BOSE stereo. Will this PCM work as a retrofit? Just curious. It's about 1/2 the price as the same unit from Porsche. DFogal.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It would probably work, but they want too much money and don't offer any sort of refund/replacement. I'd expect to pay around $1200 on ebay.
That guy has been posting PCM's on Flee-Bay for a long time. Some with negative feedback. Plus his add states: "we don't take any return or refund ! There will be no replacement or refunds, sorry , make sure first , before you bid !!" TOO SCARY for me. I remember a post a while back from Suncoast Porsche. I think a VIN number is needed to assure compatibility
