Good afternoon, My name is John and I reside in West Lothian. Despite having a 'normal' job, I like to dabble in photography and hope to focus more in the automotive side of things in the future. One of your members, Donald, agreed to let me shoot his 996 turbo yesterday in the Scottish Borders and is happy for me to post the results. I hope this is appropriate. I have copied this over from the Scotland section as thought it would interest this particular forum. Kind regards John [ ]

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Great pictures, great filters etc, very nice - a little better than my mobile phone pics of my car...
really nice photos
Thank you, it was a real pleasure
It's odd. I find the 996 turbo one of the most beautiful shaped cars to look at from any angle in the flesh but I think its the hardest car I've ever had to get a good photo of! Seems to always look somehow out of proportion when I photograph it! I think one of my favourite angles of the car is the one the photographer took to sell it. Pity the rest of the add is so terrible but that's up to the man selling it I suppose: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/largepic.asp?i=2521031&noPics=6&imgsrv=1¤t=3&make=PORSCHE&model=996TURBO Beautiful photo's though. Is that 'the' mountain road (with the road that goes to nowhere) that gets talked about a lot on piston heads? Looks very familiar but I suppose a lot of the roads in the hills do. Regards, Ben
