Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

So, I’ve got what appears to be all the bolts to remove this wing... what is the trick to pull out the mechanical portion?

POST 2Original post

Nevermind.... I got it!! But, word to wicked... watch that aluminum edge on the assembly, I almost sliced my finger off I’m installing an NR GT3 wing and I can’t wait... but clearly, this looks better with nothing vs the stock flippy

POST 3Original post

Just the thread I was looking for. Would you mind weighing the motor assembly with stock wing? I too want to replace it at some point.

POST 4Original post

It’s light... but I’ll weigh it... I was actually surprised at how light it is. The aluminum assembly is almost flimsy... maybe couple pounds. I’m sure the NR weighs more

POST 5Original post

Will the uprightrs mount into the gaping holes? Looking forward to the finished product.

POST 6Original post

If your talking about the two holes that were for the old wings up/down mechanism, then the new NR base will cover those up... however that base plate mounts to the hatch... drilling won’t be the funnest thing I’ve ever done... but it’s how most of them are if you want a larger setup....

POST 7Original post

The NR wing base is not light, so this won’t save weight after it’s all said and done....but ohhh what fun..

POST 8Original post

Great fitment... sending it out for paint This wing imo fills out that back end nice... gives it more of a 911 appearance, looks GT-ish, but not too...
