Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So took the decision to have a bit of a deal around. I've kept the original sport classic2's and may have a swap about over the year. Got the wheels from group4 and they arrived quickly, decent price and the guy who does my tyres was very impressed as they needed hardly any weights. In fact I think two of them were straight on as they were.

POST 2Original post

Any level photos? They do look decent. Whats the weight like on them?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They're lighter than the sport classic2's certainly. Surprisingly light

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I can't seem to orientate the photos correctly?!?

POST 5Original post

If its taken with an iphone, try having the phone horizontal with the button on the right. I've found this the best way to get the image to upload correctly on forums (various)! Ian

POST 7Original post

They look very nice - he says, standing on his head  Don't know Group4 but presume they are cast, not forged??

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They're cast. They do various replica wheels for Porsche, Ferrari and others. I toyed with getting Lm's but the massive lead time for the gold option and the fact they wouldn't be totally dissimilar to the sport classic2's put me off. I'll keep an eye out for some e88's though I think. It's always nice to have options as wheels transform the look of the car totally.

POST 9Original post

Thanks - thought so but they look great all the same :thumb: Absolutely, wheels can make or break a car's look!

POST 10Original post

They do look nice - IMHO only two choices for aftermarket wheels - these and Oz. Both suit the vehicle.

POST 11Original post

rObartes has these custom painted RSR-style on his 993: http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=141722&start=27 Any here they are on a Boxster, showing the rear dish - to my eye they look better than genuine Fuchs, which fall a little too flat:

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

And more importantly those photos are the right way round?!?

POST 13Original post

And the original photos rotated, for your viewing pleasure:

POST 14Original post

They do look lovely in gold 8) I got the same wheels from Group4 about 18 months ago & have been very happy with mine. I was torn between gold & anthracite, & eventually opted for the more conservative colour. If/when they need a refurb I may consider a colour change some pics in this thread: http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=139767&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=40
