Hi all, I introduced myself over in the newbie section but thought since I'm looking for a 996 I'd say hello here too. At this stage I'm open to anything regarding spec etc, ideally one that's had had a bit of work keeping on top of maintenance would be preferred and if I got lucky something with a rebuild but I might be struggling with my budget. I'm going to have a look through some previous threads and see if there's anything I've missed recently.

welcome, there is an interesting thread recently about the lack of examples available currently hopefully the new year will bring along a few more for you to pick from. There is plenty of advice on here and dont get to hung up on miles and spec, buy on condition and history. there are plenty of parts and people breaking cars so if its something that could be swapped later then dont discount it based purely on that. good luck in your quest and look forward to seeing your results cheers Nick
Hi Blobeyesti - I've sent you a PM, as I'm looking to sell my 996 C4S.
I will have my 2002 996 Carrera 2 tip up for sale once this madness is over. Has had a lot of maintenance work done in my ownership including IMS, RMS, brake lines AOS coil packs and various other jobs. Selling because I hardly use it. Even less now.
