I measured cam 1&2 deviation in Durametric and got the attached results (see pic). Reason to be worried? This is from a 2 year old replacement engine which I got after my original engine failed with IMS failure Comments, ideas ?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Theoretically, cam deviation values should be zero, but in the real world they never are and you always get some odd ball +/- values. These are caused by slight tolerances in the cam drive system and the position sensors and are nothing to be concerned about as long as they remain relatively steady. When an IMS goes bad, these deviation values will “dance” back and forth, indicating that something that should not be moving is.
