I bought a 996 c4 cab about a month ago. I love the way it handles but after seeing a few others on recent 911uk drives I think mine sits too high. I dont want to lose the comfort and practicality and don't want an underside destroyed by speed humps and unforgiving car parks. H & R do a set of springs for around 250 quid, I had Eibach on my M3 which were great, any suggestions , how much to drop , make of springs and if I can get away with my existing shocks will be gratefully received....

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Someone I know dropped his 30mm and said it wasn't a problem over bumps
My 997 has 8.6cm clearance and is a bit of a pain on bumps but bearable. Have to do 10mph on most. But looks the mutts nuts.
