Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Porsche Christophorus Magazine for iPad on the iTunes App Store

POST 2Original post

Other than the fact that the photo in the small article about the Cayman and Boxster only shows Boxsters (why dat!), and that the navigation takes ome getting used to, this is a very impressive effort.

POST 3Original post

I'm thinking of naming my next kid Christophorus.

POST 5Original post

Thanks for the heads up! I just downloaded it last night. Haven't had a chance to give it a close look.

POST 6Original post

are you guys still getting the hardcopy of the mag free? Just got a brand new 997.2 a few months ago and have gotten a free copy. Did Porsche stop doing this?

POST 7Original post

nice find...I still love the real deal arriving in my mailbox

POST 8Original post

Thanks for the info. I will have to download that.

Call me crazy, but for me there is nothing like holding a magazine or book in my hands. No Kindle, no iPad.

POST 10Original post

Let me guess....you think the PDK is heresy I love my Kindle but actually started reading digital media on my iPad (which is pretty lame for reading hence the Kindle). I love being able to get into a book NOW when I have read a good review or reference. Magazines like Christophorus on the iPad are only as good as the software that renders them. The Porsche magazine is very lame in this regard. It is locked in landscape mode (like the Porsche Cinema), not the most intuitive navigation and will not allow zoom. There are much better digital magazines out there. Cool Hunting is one of my favorites...not so much a magazine as a stream of content. It is the fundamental error to assume that the transition from paper to digital content must hold to the old rules. I don't buy CD's or DVD's anymore, I read the news on the internet, why should I buy paper magazines?
