So I had the dreaded key won't turn issue and bought a new steering lock it took all day to get the old one of after lots of googling. I took the original key barrel off the old part and it fell on the floor when I went to pick it up there was a small spring next to it and I can't see where it would fit as nothing fell apart. Does anyone know when you press the old key barrel into the new steering lock if there is meant to be a small spring that fits between the 2? [/img]

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
