Can anyone tell me if there was a sub-woofer fitted to early 996 BOSE systems. I've been looking through wiring diagrams for pre-MOST vehicles, but cant find the wiring for a sub. Dave.

The 2002 wiring diagram for the (pre-MOST) analog Bose system shows a separate amplifier and sub-woofer for the M680 option.

Hi Richard, you wouldnt have a copy of the wiring diagram for this would you Richard? The only diagram I have is for a 1999/2000 model and cant find the sub wiring at all on that one. I'm tryingt o understand how it is wired into the head unit, etc. I am looking at an amp for what I tihnk is the M490 option and cant see a connection for the sub. Dave

No problem. Drop me an email and I'll attach it to a reply. Edit: M490 was the Harman Analog sound package, which didn't have a sub.
