Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, well, firstly I have a top of the range flame suit on, but I am back in a Porsche. This is my daily runaround firstly, however I have seen the C4S climb in value, and I do think its got a very sexy rear end, so I have (behind the scenes) been looking and viewing them. I settled on a nice one, not the usual Black, grey or silver and its everything I have warned people not to buy some years ago, hence my Gucci edition flame suit. I am getting older and appreciate the retro coolness of them, and I think that Time has been very kind to the 996. Well, hope you are all well, and here is some shots at the Toby Carvery in Maidstone, my first day out in it and enjoyed all the back roads !! :thumb:

Ill have a read later matey, sounds interesting. I will be doing mainly the IMS upgrade to start with, need to have a ring around... the place I first tried wanted £2200, seems like prices vary a bit.

POST 15Original post

Hi Looks very nice indeed. I agree that the 996 has aged quite well especially given its departure from the 911 "formula". As a 993 owner (and previously 964) I was firmly in the "don't like" camp for many years with the 996, and even more so with the 986, which I really did look down my nose at in a way that I can hardly believe now. Time has changed all that and I actually bought a 986 which although it took a few months of ownership, I have really come to like very much. In fact now it has the 987 seats I would say that I prefer the car overall to a 987. Wishing you well to drive it! Berni
