Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have any experience of this specialist? https://philipraby.co.uk/home/ My main interest would be in their non-standard servicing expertise (e.g. suspension tuning)?

POST 2Original post

They don't seem to mention it on their website but probably worth calling. Phil is a nice chap.

POST 3Original post

Paid ad hoc visit recently, hugely knowledgeable and very helpful. Not bought from them yet at least, but wouldn’t hesitate if the car was right for me.

POST 4Original post

I've never met him nor cannot comment on his work. However, he has been in the Porsche community for at least 20 years. I originally came across him as an author on the 911 & Porsche world magazine in the early '00s. On this basis alone I'd think he is an enthusiast and passionate about Porsche.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It is a pity that this company - like so many others - seems to never read the contact forms submitted on their website. So I telephoned - explained my interest and mentioned the contact form - the lady who took the call promised me a callback at 16:30 on Friday. Still waiting...

POST 6Original post

I popped in to them a couple of years back - really good experience and as has been said, Philip has a long reputation in the Porsche world, writing for magazines etc. However, I think I would be going to Centre Gravity for the kind of thing you are talking about, but that is based on what I have heard of their good work rather than anything else!

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well....I have booked a slot at CG, so will report back when done!

POST 8Original post

Sorry to hear no one got to you. Centre Gravity is a great choice for what you’re looking for. So pop by for a coffee next time you’re passing by. ☕️ PS Thank you to everyone for your kind comments! Phil
