Hi, im installing a valvetronic exhaust- looking for a switched 12v in the rear I found this wiring and it seems that the RED/Blu wire is a switched 12v. Can anyone tell me what this wire or this connector do? Is there any other switched 12v in this area? the connector is the one inside the Red Rectangle

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

See the wiring diagram here: https://www.planet-9.com/posts/604453/ Also the layout of Relay Support 2 below: Sadly, I couldn't find a diagram for WIRING HARNESS MOTOR SOCKETS as described above. I don't believe the connector has any purpose other than to break up the wiring harness. If you follow the cables behind you can see most enter the large white connector standing vertically on the left. You may also be able to see a red/blue cable coming out of this connector which is likely a continuation of the one you see in the first connector with both cables in pin 12 of the respective connectors. Try and follow this and you may get your answer. You should be able to remove the connectors from the Relay support bracket to help trace wires. Possible the connector in question carries cables to a relay for the engine, but this may be very far off. If true however, it may mean the red/blue cable is not always at 12V. Do you already have the exhaust installed or are you wiring the valves first? Let's hear that exhaust! Hope this was of some help, Adam.
Don’t know what this cable do. It’s off when the key is out. It comes to 14-15 v when engine on. I routed a 12v switched from the tip tronic in the fuse box as my car is manual I’ll do a vid in a while
