Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

A couple of 911 C2 soft tops have caught my eye 02 and 03 plates. Both have around 45,000 miles. Never owned a Porsche before, any tips on what to look out for (and avoid)? All comments welcome including advice on value. Both in silver and fully loaded with face lift headlights. B :?:

Check for the service history, get a pre-purchase inspection done, see if the exterior/interior colours are the ones you would be happy to live with and also easy to to get rid of at re-sale time. This along with the usual HPI checks. Welcome to the forum by the way! ~ Maxie :thumb:

Welcome, I just have been down this road your on. Started looking at a C2Conv and ended up buying a C4S. For me I really wanted the right car with options, great history and very very clean. I also wanted the knowledge that I had a warranty to fall back on should it all go wrong! I think i got everything i wanted, but it's early days being only 1 week inot that new ownership. So far the silly grin remains. Good luck in your search and one thing is for sure, the guys on here are very very helpful. :thumb:

:welcome: Any of the comparison websites should help you on insurance plus I'd give A Plan a call too. A 996 Cab is a great car
