Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guy's, I found that the side flaps & convertible clamshell lid motor are working but not enough power to open/ close. When I put allen key in and press switch the allen key is a lot easier to turn. Is there a seperate hydraulic tank for this or is it the same circuit as the main roof motor? Also, can the system be bled or cleaned out. Or do I need a new motor? Thanks in advance Gary

POST 2Original post

under the rear cover is the motor with the hydraulic tank for the roof, what have you been doing with the allen screw through the back as it may not be fully located, had one the other week where a pin had dropped out... from the clam shell to the roof top all linked by a mechanism ideally needs to b looked at

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

roof Hi...thanks for the reply i will have a look at the tank today. what i do with the allen key is turn it untill the clamshell is shut then when it is shut the allen key just spins. it is very hard to turn the allen key when you put up the clamshell but like i said when you push the roof button at the same time it gets much easier so the motor is trying to do its job but its as if there is not enough power there many thanks gary
