Has anyone had good luck with a hands free device that blocks out wind noise? I'm thinking the best clarity will be from a headset but which ones work best? I realize that with the top down, it's a tough environment but there must be something out there that works halfway decently.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I have had good luck with the Jawbone Icon noise cancelling earpiece but it appears they quit making it. I had one for years and when it quit on me last summer, I got a new one on eBay. Couldn't find one brand new anywhere.
Occasionally I'll get a call on my way home from work that I have to take. If I'm on the highway, there's no chance to pull over and put the top up. The microphone for the Bluetooth radio is useless with the top down. I've tried different locations but nothing seems to give enough clarity to hold a conversation. I did find a device called the BlueParrot B-250XT that truckers use and swear by. It's a wired unit (they do have a Bluetooth unit also) for around $70 and gets great reviews. It may be worth a try
Tried many systems too for the use in the Cayman including Dension (I drive with windows down frequently)...nothing any good. After a number of earpiece units I came across the Plantronics Voyager 5200. Comments are that they cannot tell I am in the car. Does not transmit any engine or wind noise. Gave one to my son. He drives an S2000. Same results. Works better than I would have thought. High recommend. Good luck
