Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looks good, not a fan of the seats but colour is on point and I think achieving more than I thought possible. https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2002-porsche-911-996-csr-evo

POST 2Original post

Looks like it didn't make the reserve that was set. Bidding was at £30k with a day to go, but not sure where it finished

POST 4Original post

As much as someone is willing to pay for it. Like when 993's were going for well under 20k not that long ago, now people are willing to pay more.

POST 5Original post

Theres a certain price level that may attract interest though and i believe bids went up to 31k. I'll put my neck out there and say I think there is a glass ceiling on this sort of 996 without a mezger at circa £35k so CC did very well with that car. Lovely car.

POST 6Original post

Agree. They had a LHD 996 GT3 recently that made just under £40k+6% and a few RHD 996.2 GT3s at about £50k.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm not sure what these mods would have come too but considering a 6.2 with engine work can be bought for £15k do all these bits equate to £15k? I want a ducktail but struggling to even justify the money for one of those as works out at 10% of the cars value.

POST 8Original post

Depends how far you go in the spec, but you could easily spend 15k on one: > Motorsport / RSS etc suspension arms, top mounts, decent dampers > Clutch, lightweight flywheel, LSD, engine bits if you are in there (thermostat, ceramic IMS) > Brake refurb + floating discs > Wheels + tyres > Exhaust + labour to fit would be about that at a guess + anything cosmetic + interior work. RPM have built some brand & reputation around the CSR too.

POST 9Original post

Unsold at 43K The guy on here who purchased his GT3 a few months ago went for similar Another silver 996 GT3 went for 54K at the weekend

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It got to 43k? I thought RPM were trying to sell their $s CSR for around that? My friend said it would get to 45. He's much more optimistic (and usually right) about prices than me.

POST 11Original post

On a 997.1 i had a quote done, a little slow getting back to me and the base car sold. But it was going to be about £18K for a basic build of suspension, flywheel, cooling, ducktail, brakes and exhaust The base car was already aero, rebuilt x51, short shift so a few items not needed.

POST 12Original post

Your keyboard had a mistype so not sure what RPM CSR was trying to be sold for 43k. Im sure ive seen this purple one up before for 70k but might be mistaken Im not surprised at the 43k GT3 but am on the 54k GT3

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ahh sorry about that, was trying to say 4s CSR https://rpmtechnik.co.uk/sales/vehicle/996-c4s-csr/ Is the purple car a much better spec?

POST 14Original post

only your mate can decide if its a better spec or not. The recent CC car is this one here; https://csrporsche.co.uk/models/996-models/996-csr-evo/

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was asking about the spec not my friend. Both looks good cars, ill leave it there.
