Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

£8k.
Too high. I'll go for £6500
Yeah - I was being a bit generous. Car's tatty and not been well looked after.
If it goes for as low as 6.5k I'll buy it. I think it will go for £9,800. Not saying it's worth that but that's my guess.
It looks like it's being sold by the owner of SVP Motorsport in Worcestershire & it's reported to have had an engine rebuild done by them.
following with interest, good indication of the market.
The tatty 996 market maybe. Be mechanically that car is f***ed.
2 engine rebuilds in 20k miles? who's been driving this, the incredible hulk?
I'll second that. Seen high mileage manual cabs going for that so can't see a worn tip cab going for any more despite the engine rebuild (It looks like the second one was done by the same guys that did the first one... which failed).
Agree totally with this.
I was doing my best to be diplomatic, this is the lower end of 911 ownership!
A couple of weeks ago a 997.1 C2S with 78K on the clock went for £21K
Probably worth more in bits ?
Only the good ones.
