So after the excitement of getting the c4 back from the gear box rebuild and falling in love with the car again this all, luckily enough, coincided with my wife's birthday being at a loss of what to buy her I purchased a sprint booster. The look of joy on her face when i handed her the small box wrapped up, is a ring? Bracelet? Necklace? Nope ... what is it? She seemed pleased with it but luckily enough didn't have a use for it, but I explained it was non returnable, she thanked me so out I went and plugged it in, Wow what a great gadget, massively improved the throttle response seems to make it more linear in the red mode, the green mode is a bit more ballistic turning onto the slip road I seemed to be getting the full Porsche experience!
