Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I was looking through our new sponsor's (strosek.de) website and found these headers. No information or price is given on the site, just that they add 15 engine horsepower. I was intrigued by the design, it is different from all the other headers I have seen so far for the Cayman and the power sounds nice. I emailed them for more info and a price quote; but I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them. I'd love to hear what they sound like and I also wonder how they'd go with the AWE catback I have on order, whether or not the two pieces would complement each other well.

POST 2Original post

From the angle of the header to exhaust flange, it does't look as if it takes a proprietary exhaust system... Can you check and see if the exhaust flange will line up the same as the stock headers???

POST 3Original post

Cough...cough... I... can't... breathe... That looks extremely restrictive. They might as well have gone all the way and tied a knot in the manifolds. I'd look elsewhere... Lee in D.C. '04 Cayman RS project

POST 4Original post

I myself thought it was strange that they chose a longer route for air flow than a shorter, more direct route, but their power claims were high so I thought they might have something up there sleeve. Perhaps they will send me more info soon or come here on the forum. Also, I'm not sure if the flange will line up, hopefully I can get in touch with them.

POST 5Original post

As mentioned by Bull_30 these do NOT look like a Cayman OEM catback mate. Here’s FABSPEEDS that are… zornet

POST 6Original post

I got mine from Neil Orton and LOVE them. No codes, no resonance, just sweet sound and POWER. ( and they look great )
