Car currently sits on H&R Coils. Love the stance and performance is pretty solid for the most part but rub under aggressive turning and bigger bumps Bought the vehicle with an extra set of Motion Clubsport 2-Way Coilovers with remote reservoirs. Spring weights are 900# up front and 1100# in the rear but Im told they need to be rebuilt. Im located in AZ and assume the best shops are in Cali?? The suspension GOAT (Rob) at OTTO will likely preform the installation once complete. Assuming the performance and ride ability is significantly improved over H&R? But is it a significant gap in performance? Any clarity on rebuild costs would be appreciated. Would install the Motons and sell the H&Rs if its a no brainer I drive this baddie like its meant to be driven - Spirited, both on and off track. Track days are more for sport than competitive and have been wanting to dial in the car before putting her on track. Dang those coilovers are like 2x stiffer than a GT3

Which? The Montons? With the reservoirs and dialed in, it should be real good. Id hope.
The ride will be very race car. To say the car will feel much better will be very subjective as it will be very stiff on the street. Generally parts that r great for the track r not so good for the street. I have ohlin coilovers and they r a compromise for the track.

yeah when I looked it up I found this.996 GT3 Mk1 (19992001) Front: ~285 lb/in (50 N/mm) Rear: ~400 lb/in (70 N/mm) 996 GT3 Mk2 (20032005) Also known as the 996.2 GT3 Front: ~340 lb/in (60 N/mm) Rear: ~460 lb/in (80 N/mm)
Pacific Shock (PSI) rebuilt my Motons a few years ago. I have Motorsport 2-way with somewhat higher spring rates and it's not a good ride on our Massachusetts roads. I would not want to daily the car with my spring rates.
