Hi, I've owned my car a month now , hardtop is still at the garage i purchased the car from due to a space issue at home. Am now thinking of just advertising and selling the roof on (didn't use the hardtop on my previous car either and sold it seperately yesterday). ...But the dealer has told me not to sell it - they say that apparently Porsche buyers expect the hardtop when they buy a Cab. Is this really the case ? Will it honestly make that much difference come resale time ? not that i'm thinking of selling for a long long long time yet ! Personally don't like the look of the car with the hardtop on. Nick

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

most buyers expect a hard top but worry about that when you decide to sell, I not worrying about such sale issues till that faithful day! there are ways to store your hard top ? extended from the inside of the garage roof.. although come winter the roof is very useful, but then again not too hard to get hold of if you dont want it sell it, your choice (who was this enlightening dealer?)
Dealer is an independent in Berkshire.... The reason i ask is that my old M3 hardtop sat hanging up against the garage wall for the best part of 3 years and was never used. I'm leaning towards selling - a car not having a would never put me off a purchase.
