Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Quite simple job, just takes a bit of time and patience and the right tools. Easier with the front jacked up and the wheels off to get at the inner wheel liners which have to be loosened front edges anyway. I got detailed instructions from the renntech site I did it to clean out the rads. Not many tools required - star headed screwdriver bits and that was about it if I remember correctly. Put a blanket down to lie the front PU down on when you have removed it so it doesn't get scratched. Slowly and methodically does it - I spent a couple of hours doing it. Mines a C4S also - lining it back up when you put it back is the hardest part especially on your own again slowly does it and if not perfectly lined up loosen off and line up again before finally tightening.

It should take you around just over an hour to take it off. I have 2 front PU's which I change every year as I hate stone chips and don't like the look of Paintshield. Have a search in the GT/RS forum and you will see my report. :thumb:

Here's the link that will help you. http://www.fast911.co.uk/Bumper removal on 996 TT with Aerokit.doc I changed mine last year and found the parts by googling the Porsche part number, the C4S is the same as the turbo model and is different from the standard model. Behr is identical to the OPC model, but there is a lower cost pattern available. Job is easy and Kwikfit can regas for you. Good luck Ray :thumb:
