Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

got a 2000 , that was a repo and has no radio code and the nearest dealer is hours away, any ideas on how to get a code with out having to drive 6 hours to have the car in the shop?

POST 2Original post

You have 2 choices: 1. Go to beckerautosound.com and email or call them. They can give you the code over the phone but it will cost you $20. Have your credit card ready. Or... 2. Follow this link: Lost Radio Code - FAQ - RennTech.org Forums Send Loren a nice message. He'll hook you up with a code, but it may not work. Actually, there's a 3rd possibility. Sometimes on these cars the code is written on the white label under the front trunk lid. That was where I found mine. Of course, that was after I already paid to get it.

POST 3Original post

I accidentally put in the wrong code on my Becker CDR 220 996 radio head unit, and now it says WAIT, how long must I wait now to try and enter the proper code

POST 4Original post
