Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi again, Some time ago I posted a note regarding a mind numbing continuous squeaky rattle coming from the front dash area. It was as if something inside the dash console was rattling constantly. My fab indie. immediatly identified the problem as the windscreen seals. So some top rubber protector applied dutifully to the interfaces between the rubber gaskets and screen bodywork and hey presto, silence. Regards Martin

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry, been away and no internet! In answer to your question, no the windscreen did not to come out. Although I have heard that this is a normal procedure if it is not easlity solved as I have described. It is now v.quiet, although other sounds are now in the forfront! regards Martin
