I'm looking for a part No for the attached picture here. Car failed MOT due headlight adjustment. The picture attached is how it should look, mine is split and the headlight lense is loose.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I think design 911 is your best bet Steve
headkight part hi, that's one of the plastic sockets for the ball joints which are part of the adjustment system, should be attached to the headlight unit inner case. not sure how you'd fix that without opening up (heating and prising open) the main cover. watch retrofit lab youtube vid to give you an idea. maybe source a used headlight?? regards ed
You certainly can take projector headlights apart without separating the main cover. Getting these ball pivots back can be tricky, wrap a loop of cord around the socket and pull it towards the rear of the unit. Where are you, I probably have a spare.
I'm up in Fife, if you do have a spare that would be much appreciated. Quite happy to give you something for it as it would save me looking for a complete light.
