I have bought this Macan steering wheel for my 996 turbo and the hub spline adapter to make it fit my car. Does anyone know how to wire the airbag to my original wiring as I think the connectors are different and also how to wire the paddles? As for the other switches on the Macan wheel if any can be utilised that would be a bonus!
You will need the wiring diagrams for both then do some cutting and splicing.... I just wanted to say that Macon wheel looks very very nice !!! You will love the " Paddles" !!!
I tried this last week. The spline adapter works great�but to get the airbag to work, you�ll need a clock spring. The 996 clock spring wouldn�t work as the inner diameter is too small for the later steering wheels. Maybe if there is a way to grind the plastic splines off�.?
What are the clock springs on my car, what needs grinding?
