Since I swapped to 6mt from tip I've had a constant check engine light with the only error being TCU can bus timeout. So I decided to get it flashed to 6mt row. I couldn't get my piwis to do it even with ipas codes. I decided to send it to ecu docs and also get the stage 1 from them. When they opened it up and performed their visual inspection theynflind some swelling on some caps. So now they're also going to replace them. I'm familiar with cap swelling g and failure on stereo equipment but never thought about it for an ecu. Just a heads up on these now better than 20 year old cars. Can't wait to get the bix back and into the car to see if the codes stay away.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
