Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

The handover takes all the electrical/electronic systems out of "Transport Mode" ... During months long transport over the pond and sitting on loading docs and Dealer lots, only basic functions are needed so this mode keeps from having excessive parasitic draw on the battery......Some electrical malfunctions or noise/spikes ( alternator doide failure ect) can cause things to go back into Transport Mode again and the Handover will get things back functioning... You should do a VAL on the car to have a "Log" of all the coding, software numbers, part numbers, plus the nominal values to use as reference when things are not working properly...... When the car was under warranty the VAL had to be done and sent to Porsche anytime there was a warranty claim made or Porsche would not pay the claim.....
