If it's a daily and you have even slightly sweaty hands, I'd advise against it. Alcantara wears and shows stains quite badly compared to leather.

I deliberated for hours what to go for. Nearly went for white stitching to contrast the dark grey and tie in with the white car white market etc but decided it would get grubby so went for light grey stitching. I had the wheel thickened 2mm as well!! Feels much nicer

Damn that looks lovely! Mind if i ask what the wait time/fitting time for a new wheel is? Is it same-day or do they sell them with the owner needing to then get it fitted?

Love my royal wheel (and other bits) and that is one gorgeous looking wheel. He does such cracking work for bargain money doesn't he? Well done on taking the plunge and getting that spot on !
