Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't been back to that part of the site in some time.
Carbon Ceramic Cayman: Thanks for being a good Cayman Scout and bringing these nice videos back to the CC. However, it looks likethe Cayman Clubbershave temporarily taken the Porsche site off-line. Too much streaming video?
I just watched it. In the absence of a real car to see this was a good way to start the day. Thanks for finding that. Waiting just got harder.
Seriously, these movies of the Cayman and other models in the Porsche site are just the most corny videos ever. I don't think they just decided to create a car in their lunch break. All the 'employees' look very much like actors. It doesn't look like the actual 'behind the scenes' view, it's just some promotional movie. And the narrator says lines which are really corny, piece of cake corny! They do they have to be so 'secretive' in this sense of actors displaying a false 'behind the scenes' view? So is this where porsche's huge profits go toward? After watching each movie, I just had to laugh!
Crazy, I totally agree! The first and last were especiallybad. At least the second one had some footage that I've been craving!!!
I just looked at these. You have to admit that the quality of production is quite high. Corny and scripted are the operative words, to be sure.
"Being true to yourself is not simple, but it's worth every effort, that's the idea behind every Porsche, from the very start... The Cayman S, instantly Porsche." (listen to the music as well, playing as this guy speaks) -The Narrator, "True to yourself" Best (corny) line yet! And I heard cornier lines in the 911 films. At least the Rivals film shown me some of the design development process... Edited by - Crazy_fast on 11/28/2005 4:49:39 PM
