Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A dumb question but - what is this?

POST 2Original post

It's a pic of under the bottom cover in the frunk. You can see the amp for the stereo, the spare wheel and the end of the plastic case for the warning triangle!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ah. It's the stereo amp. Many thanks. I could not find this anywhere on the 'net.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I wonder why they couldn't put it inside the car.

POST 6Original post

It is in the car, great place in fact, dry in a water sealed boot out of the place yet accessible close to the stereo for minimal wiring. could say best place for it really.

POST 8Original post

Thought it might have been the spare IMS bearing and shaft case
