Hi I've been looking into buying the above model car and wondered if firstly, the convertibles automatically close when you lock the car? What I basically want to do is park with the roof down and simply get out of the car and lock it via the key fob, which will close all windows, the hood and lock the car. This could all come as standard of course so please excuse my ignorance if that's the case, (haven't bought the car yet!). Also looked into one of these - RemoteTOP and wondered if it'll do the job? Any feedback welcomed... Thanks! Jason

I think you need the smartTop rather than the remoteTop. On 2003-on 996 cabs you can't close the windows with the remote once the hood is up. I believe the smartTop allows you to do this. Check out www.mods4cars.com for details.
