Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'd like to know too...
I've figured it out.. Locking Rear Differential = Limited Slip Differential Active Brake Differential = Traction Control
My car has: # 220 Locking Differential # 222 Traction Control System #224 Active Brake Differential I conclude that Active Brake Differential does not equal Traction Control
we need more information on you car to tell you what is going on. Limited Slip Differentials were only available on '99 cars and 40th Anniversary ('04) cars (base 996s not GT's or Turbos)
I've got the same 220, 222, and 224. But every option code decoder that I've seen doesn't have 222 on it. It seems that 222 (T.C.) and 224 (A.B.D) are the same. ???
222 is "ASR Traction Control System"
So...what is the difference between Traction Control System and Automatic Limited Slip Differential?
What's the difference between "traction control" and PSM?
This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
