I am not talking about my new battery power shaver, im talking being very silly and rushing this morning with cold tyres. I was told when the 911 pendulum effect comes into play you may aswel take your hands off the wheel and sit back as there is nothing that can be done to correct it.... yep, it is true, the rear stepped out, I had the natural reaction and turned into it, it then straighten up, thought I was sorted and wahey.. it went the other way leaving me ruddy sideways on in a busy tight road in my local town centre! I am still shaking, fortunately the oncoming van managed to stop and I didn't belt the kerb so all is well... phew.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

:drive: you were very fortunate
yep - i've had cold tyre pendulum effect experiences - just take it easy now, until all is warmed up!
Don't worry lloyd it happens to us all. Glad to hear you are ok. I had a misshap the other day, giving it a bit of a blast round. There was a slight left kink in the road, and a van coming the other way. He did no more than cut over onto my side of the road. It forced me over and my rear wheel clipped the kerb. It ripped my sidewall and took a cunk out of the rim. Anyway my wallet is now lighter by the price of two pilot sports (295/30/18) and 1 wheel refurb. Not impressed.
Didn't your PSM kick in?
Traction control is for girls!!! uh:
