Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

whent to a wedding at weekend in my pride and joy,1999 c4 with gt3 kit,a posh to do at ruthin castle, only to find at bout 8 ocklock a grow woman jumping on my whale tail trying to set the alarm off, after further inspection revealed paint crack about 6 inches long, gutted as car was prevously mint, any ideas how i can rectify without having resprayed.i hav ordered a touch up,was wondering if i could build it up and cut it out. any ideas.

POST 2Original post

Somebody must know who the woman was so get her to pay for the repair. Might stop her from doing it again.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

easy said than done they where not in our party sort of gate crashed and dont know where they live/hav contacted the hotel and the manager is going to call back, they can sort it out

POST 5Original post

Re: easy said than done Don't suppose they got it on CCTV did they? I would recommend getting it fixed properly if the crack is structural... The rear spoiler takes huge loads at high speed and basically keeps the back wheels on the ground! You don't want it flying off at 140 mph braking into Stowe corner on a track day or anything! It isn't just cosmetic... and don't forget you don't have the rising spoiler as a back up any more.

POST 6Original post

Re: hair line paint crack in aero spoiler due to ***** jumpi contact one of these Chipsaway chaps, one of my mates has a franchise up in the Aberdeen area and I must admit he's damn handy with his spray gun,he has done small jobs on both my E-class Taxi and 993(met silver and met blue respectively) and achieved perfect results, and all this at my convenience with the car's being done on the driveway and the car out of action for just a couple of hours rather than days

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

no not that bad its just a crack in the paint not structural at all, like when some one has touched the bumper and the paint cracks, still very solid no real damage only to the paint/cosmetic,hopefully cctv will pick it up but pretty sure car park says (cars parked at owners risk) so probally not got leg to stand on.

POST 8Original post

Were you not able to catch the whale and at least let her know how disappointed you were in her actions ?! Very unlucky, hope the repair is not too expensive and the CCTV gives a clear image so something can be done.

POST 9Original post

A swift kick in the face would have taught her the error of her ways!

POST 10Original post

Re: no not that bad should "only" cost £100-ish tbh at the most I would have thought, not too much to fix, still a bit of a Bar steward as it was your fault etc you won't have a leg to stand on re the owners of the car park, you would/should however be able to make a complaint to the Police of criminal damage,if the car park owners can tell you who the culprit was, afterall J-Kay's Ferrari was damaged in a hotel car park last week or so and one of the hotel employees was arrested for criminal damage

POST 11Original post

That is shocking. I would have enjoyed knocking the fat cow out with a punch and then standing on her until the police arrived. I absolutely hate people who think they can cheerfully damage or steal other peoples property and get away with it.

POST 12Original post

This reminds me of this: http://motortorque.askaprice.com/ne...ses-lamborghini-vandal-from-youtube-video.asp Take it to a proper bodyshop if you want a decent repair. Regards EliteDetailer

POST 13Original post

This is what really pees me off, the vandal causes 20k of damage and is asked to pay 1k fine, sorry no, he should the 20k as damage, even if it takes him 20 years to do it, which is often as long as it takes to save up to buy one. Again a example of scum getting away with it. Deduct it from his wages/dole for the rest of his years

POST 14Original post

You're being too soft, personally I'd have pinned fatty down till i got her details and also grabbed a witness before calling the police for vandalism :cop:
