The usual tatty looking console due to the really bad choice of coating by porsche ! Who has refurb'd theirs? What with? How? I've thought about repainting just satin black; Hydro dipping in a variety of finishes; Vinyl wrap. Any thoughts? Cheers.
If you paint, make sure you do proper prep and proper clear coating. That center console sees a lot of contact. Hydro dipping is a solid choice, but I've had issues where semi-flexible hydrodipped products start to flake the coating off after a few summers. Vinyl is also a solid choice if you do proper prep and have experience with applying vinyl over weird angles and curves. I went the vinyl route to match the exterior paint and couldn't be happier.

No I have wrapped a few smaller things but I'm not going to wrap this!
I had mine painted GT Silver to match the interior trim. I bought a used console off of eBay and had it painted. My original console had cracks and broken pieces.
The BumperPlugs people do console painting. I have not had it done but they are reported to do a good job with it.
I has Bumper Plugs paint the center console in my Meteor Grey 2010 Boxster Base body colored a few years back. It still looks fantastic and has held up extremely well. Mike
