Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi and :welcome: to 911uk The front wing from any Gen2 996 will definitely fit your car so any from Model Year 2001-2005 ie. C2, C4, C4S and Turbo. I don't know whether the Gen1 cars were interchangeable but it won't be long before somebody who does comes along.
Thank you very much really appreciate that quick response couldnt find an answer anywhere on the net!
I'm not sure if that is true. Also, the OP refers to wing, not front wing. What exactly is damaged on the OPs car? The wing/spoiler for the C4S Only fits the C4S. The front PU/bumper is unique to the C4S as I believe the underneath is slightly different on the Turbo due to Centre radiator. The just look the same. So the answer based on what I have learnt is that any 996 C4S from any year will fit.

I did specify front wing. afaik the rear quarter is part of the body shell so I didn't think that they had rear wings as such. The front PU of various models is different but surely the top and side of all are the same shape as all have the same headlights. I can't see why the front wing would be any different on any model.
The C4S and Turbo have a different shape radiator inlet cowls and underbody Panels that don't align with the narrow body model PU based on the parts catalogue. The front wheel arch liners could be different where they connect to the PU too but I'm not sure.
This was my understanding too... I purchased a pair of wings from a C2 996.2 facelift car for my C4S in preparation for a full respray.
Doh! I have just realised that I completely misunderstood the OP question :frustrated: Apologies T8 - for some reason I completely forgot there is a LH and RH wing on a car and I thought the OP was talking about the spoiler (wing)! No idea why. Clearly lockdown is affecting my English comprehension. You are correct. Any 996.2 Wing will fit the C4S. Per other posts on here, I think it was MC's thread, the 996.1 wing is the same shape but has different brackets underneath. Still can't figure out why I pictured a spoiler or front splitter instead of a wing :dont know: I'll get my coat
Here are photos of a 996.1 wing and a 996.2 wing. You will see that the mounting area around the headlights is different, which makes sense given the different headlight units. If your car happens to be in Rubystone and is is the nearside wing you need I have one available.... MC
