Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If someone with a C4S (or Turbo, same rear lights?) could measure the height of the red part of the rear lights it would be much appreciated. Also, while you're there, the width of the red reflective strip would be great! Please see my expert diagram. 8) Thanks very much. :thumb:

POST 2Original post

If nobody beats me to it, ill measure up for you tonight loon

POST 3Original post

I make it 98mm high for the tail lights, 848mm bottom of the strip and 876 at the top edge

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Jamie. :thumb: Looks like my plans won't work then, *****. I was going to have a custom ducktail made to accept a C4S reflector, but my measurements for the narrow-body are something like 80mm, 865mm and 888mm. :frustrated: It doesn't look like there's as much difference in the lights as that and it's weird if the narrow-body decklid is actually wider?!

POST 6Original post

The extra width of the C4S comes from the rear quarter body panels being wider than the narrow-bodied car. The decklid is completely different and, as confirmed above, is slightly narrower. The difference between the lights and the wider shape of the decklid on a C4 - especially at the bottom - is actually quite noticeable. http://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...2).jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds[/img
