HI I am planning a lot of maintenance to my 98 this summer and was thinking about dropping the transmission. How much clearance do I need to get it out? My RaceRamps give me 12" and there is 6" under the car for a total of 18". Is this enough room to get the transmission out or do I need a lift?
Look for Burners videos on youtube. Believe 17" would be absolute minimum depending on how you get it out and slide it out.
